Dear mama,
Thank you for mentoring me , mentoring us , I know a lot of people want to be mentored one on one but I think they don’t get that you do that daily at 3pm and every time you write a book or preach a message
Thank you for being there, checking up whenever you can, I know that it’s not easy being you but you still try
Thank you for the messages you preach , sometimes it feels like “God told you to tell me” and in many ways I guess He did
Thank you for teaching Jesus in that easy, fun and relatable way
Thank you for letting me bug you, I know “I am not bugging you” but thank you still
Thank you for reading my letters, replying them
Thank you for encouraging me, encouraging us , lord knows I need it
Thank you for showing us how to do life , as singles and married ladies too
Thank you for teaching us how to mother , constantly pushing us to pray for our children, teach our children, raise them right
Thank you for asking us to pray for our husbands (even for the son in law’s that we haven’t met yet)
Thank you for the hard messages, thank you for the easy ones, thank you for the lessons
Thank you for writing those books, for every blog post, every message
Thank you for listening to me, answering my questions, responding to my hello’s
Thank you for seeing me, acknowledging my pain and holding me up in ways that you do
Days like this are harder than others, so thank you for all the little and big things you do to make it easier to deal with and reminding me that I always have you
I guess all I am saying is thank you for being Mama, cos I need it, I need you and I know we all do.
