THE BEST GIFT EVERRRR! – CHISOM

Happy Valentine’s day peoopllleee!

How are you approaching the day? Do you have anything valentine’s day related in your itinerary? No? Ok, I’ll give you one by the end of this post.

This Valentine’s day, all of us must give someone something.

Soooo, who else wakes up with songs that they can’t seem to shake off all day? It has happened to me countless times, but I only recently started paying attention.  It’s like, immediately I wake up, the song continues in my heart from somewhere random, like it had already been playing in my sleep.

I kid you not when I say , for the rest of that day, it’ll feel like someone set up a sound system in my head and put that song on repeat. It wasn’t until when I started to pay attention to these songs I wake up with that I realized that most of the time it’s not just random, there’s a message.  This is also why we should be very very mindful of the kind of content we pour into ourselves.

Story for another day.

Back to the point.

I woke up yesterday morning with Omeriwo by Isabella Melodies lodged comfortably in my head. I hummed it, sang it and played it all day. Click here to listen and download.  Then I heard something in the lyrics that jumped at me and opened up.

We are here to herald the return of the King

And it dawned on me what a privilege it is to be given the responsibility of announcing the return of our king. You do not think it’s just every John or Janet that has the right to make such announcements, do you?. I was filled with so much gratitude when I grasped this. Then, compassion quickly followed.

The king is coming true true o. That means some people (me inclusive obviously) will go to heaven, and others, hell.

Hmmmmm, I mean , no matter what anyone gets today as a gift, no matter the show of love they are overwhelmed by, If the King returns this evening and they are not a part of Him and His body, they are taking their perfumes and chocolates to hell.

So today, we are going to show the greatest love ever given- the gospel of Jesus Christ. You can throw in roses or cards, but make sure you tell somebody about Jesus today. Pray for their hearts too.

IT’S A GIFT THEY WILL BE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL FOR.

Love,

Chisom.

OMERIWO BY ISABELLA MELODIES LYRICS

There’s a sound from the remnant, a shout from the camp
It’s the song of the angels resounding on earth
The Lion of the Tribe of Judah has prevailed!

There’s an army arising to sound the alarm
We are here to announce the triumph of the Lamb
The Lion of the Tribe of Judah has prevailed!

Jesus conquered the grave when He rose from the dead
He ascended to heaven and sits on His throne

  1. Ahhhhh what you gave me was a revelation!💡👏🏾Thank you Chisom. I wake up with songs all the time and I just sing or play them to try to get them out of my head. This morning it was Raise a sound by Nosa and Songs of Angels by Judikay and I get the message. This blessed me ❤️

  2. Beautiful, I did today and I didn’t really pay much attention to it like I do other times, unfortunately I have forgotten it. But today, someone will receive a gift, the gift of salvation.
