From Regret to Reset

Hey people

It’s day 17

What a whirlwind of a day. Slept late yesterday. Woke up way too early and yet left the house at 6:30am; 30 minutes later than we would normally. So I was forced to endure Pk’s formula one moves in a bid not to make it late to church.

I was literally holding my breath today and he kept saying “honey I gat you”. Let’s just say I’m sha making sure we leave the house early from now on.

Three services in the morning -two on the mainland and one on the island. By the time I got home and sorted out lunch and decided on a very quick massage … by the time I woke up it was 4:30pm! I could not believe it. Rushed down to Love Dating and Marriage Seminar and of course after, stayed back for some fellowship after fellowship. It was on the he way back that I realized I had not blogged today.

So here’s a quick random thought for today …

You probably heard this a lot as a child. Well, it’s one of the principles of live I totally agree with.

It’s better to move on quickly and turn all regret to reset. Once you feel you’ve messed up at something don’t waste your time on regret press the reset button and use all the knowledge you garnered to make the second time around much better.

I say, no point wasting your mistakes. Learn from them then go again this time better and more informed.

Besides no matter how bad the mistake was it could have been worse

The reason why it’s not worse is because God has got you covered. He always keeps things from getting worse. We usually just don’t pay attention because we’ve gotten so familiar with miracles that they’ve lost their wonder.

Having said that though if you are a nursing mum who has issues lactating then there’s an exception to this rule.

Okay people

Good night

Love

pastor M

  1. First off, God bless and strengthen you more Momma and PK, this strength and grace can only be from God to go through crazy schedules like this. I’ll always remember this, “could have been worse, but for God”. I will review and reset, there’s so much work to be done than to wallow in anger over a mistake for too long. Thank you Momma, and happy anniversary to you and PK, love you both!

  4. Thank you so much for this message mama. It came at the right time.
    It could have been worse-check
No need wallowing in self pity or anger-double check. And life gets better life keeps fine wine.
Happy anniversary to you both. I love you and I’m glad I found you inspirational family. I have learnt to stick to what I believe. #TheWord.
