On A Lighter Note (part 2)

Hey people

I’m back and it’s the 9th day.

We’re on a roll see how happy I am?

‘Cause we gat this! We just keep moving one day at a time.

So yesterday we explored my love for Bread. I’m not even going to mince words.

I wish I could be like Oprah though

but if I want to squeeze into those UK size 12 jeans not happening anytime soon ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

So today I’m sharing another cheap weakness. Like I said let’s keep it light possibly through the weekend.

In frank Donga’s voice

Not every time revelation! Ehen” ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Today where are my #dodogang? If you are one of us please “give us a wave love… you are royalty”

that’s my best British accent in case you’re wondering. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Ok, so yes today’s post is about PLANTAIN.

See what makes plantain so special is that at any stage it should be respected. This is the only food I can think of that even in a rotten state it is still a delight. That’s when you enter deeper realms with plantain.

I can think of at least 3 things you can make with “rotten plantain”

plantain muffin.

plantain moi-moi (Ukpo Ogede)

plantain mosa

Plantain is so versatile you will be shocked at all the amazing variants. So many beauties.

Cake

Pancake

Porridge

It’s also very friendly. It goes with quite a lot of things too. It goes with so many many things. I also like the fact that plantain in any form is lovely.

As chips

As cookies

Boiled

Roasted

As a wrap or shawarma

You’d be amazed at all the amazing things you can do with plantain

As a Fritata

Used to garnish rice

Or as a wall of defense around beans

Plantain just so beautiful and if you don’t like it sweet you can always eat it unripe. Same satisfying effect.

For food to be truly everything it must be like bread or plantain. So kind, friendly and actually helps others shine. Malleability is key as well. Plantain can also be blended into a healthy flour and used as a staple food accompanied by soup

Or baked as bread

Ok so I’m not trying to be rude or anything. I just want to show you this as I walk away …

Drops mic ๐ŸŽค

๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

So now have I convinced you to join the #dodogang?

Okay guys gotta go.

I think that give away is getting stronger in my heart. So much stronger….

Who knows what will happen tomorrow.

See you.

Love

I’m a devoted member of the #dodogang. It is one of the reasons why I love Uniben…I ate plantain to the extent that I became the regular plantain joint.

    Any which way… I’m in

It’s one of the few things I always say Yes to’ Because It Naturally talks about God’s diversity.

Actually I cringed at most recipes. I must be weird. Best and probably only way I like it is boiled or porridge.
