Journey To 40

Hey people,

Wow! It’s been a while hasn’t it? Well, I’ve got good news. It’s that time of year again when I start the everyday blog series. You know how every time I do this it’s usually a 30 day blog series but this time…. wait for it…

drum roll please …

This time it’s 40 DAYS!!!

Yep! 40 whole days. Every single day.

To be honest Even I don’t know how I’m going to do it but I’m trusting God for strength and hey! I love you guys too much. This is one of my “give back” plans on my journey to 40. Wait! Me?! 40? I can’t believe it.

Anyway let’s make this fun ok? So some days will just be give aways, some other days will be me sharing some of my favorite scriptures, or telling you about my favorite things or places, or random thoughts. I cannot wait! I know I’m going to enjoy this.

It would be such a great idea to simply subscribe so you can get notifications sent to you personally.

Okay so that’s that. Now let me share the amazing weekend I just had. I tell you my life was definitely changed.

So earlier this year I began sensing that God was speaking to me more about LEGACY.

About leaving something behind that makes this world a better place. Giving them the keys needed to rule the world.

So I knew it was time to start to cater to the much younger girls. Something that showed them how beautiful and special they were to God. It was time to also touch the much younger generation.

I began to hear whispers of PROJECT GIRL

I shared the whisper with a few people and ended up with this….

50 girls between the ages of 5-12 years walked into that hall and into our hearts forever …

We were able to teach them how to “rock their tiaras” whether in dresses or in jeans with Prayer, Kindness, courage, humility, and obedience through the lives of 5 bible “princesses”

ESTHER

MARY

DEBORAH

MIRIAM

NAAMAN’S ANGEL

It was such a beautiful day. I kept tearing up. I had to put myself together long enough to be able to tell them the stories and explain why they were so precious to God

Watching them worship God was refreshing.

Of course what’s a princess ball without a banquet?

Imagine the squeals of delight once I mentioned dessert

So many amazing moments. I almost couldn’t keep up myself.

To be honest at the end of the day it felt really good to have obeyed God.

I left there feeling like they had been handed the world

Thank you to everyone who made this a reality like I said to Aunty Shade the mastermind behind it all…

“somehow the whisper has become a shout!” Im so grateful

Okay people see you on Friday 😁

Journey to 40 begins….

… and so does 40 random things 😁
