Day 15: Under the Shadow of The Almighty!

Hey there everyone! 😁

I’m excited to be the one introducing the guest writer on the JUGN blog today! But lemme start by introducing myself. My name is Rema, and I kinda sorta hijacked the blog from Kems todayπŸ˜‰ (with her permission of course, lol)

So when I first heard this testimony you are about to read, it made me super emotional and I was just in AWE of our God and how He operates! He indeed goes before us to make our journey smoother! When you read the testimony you will get what I mean.

Meet Ebele and her beautiful son, King!

Now here’s her testimony. . .

β˜† β˜† β˜†

Good morning everyone! The Word of God works absolutely! The word for last year in Davids Christian Centre was amazing! I am a LIVING MIRACLE, and then Psalm 91 vs 1 which was my promise from JUGs conference last year. I literally walked around with the shadow of the almighty over me, like I could feel that I was covered, safe from all harm all through the year, so when God blessed me and my family with an all expense paid trip to America hmmmmmmm. . . I mean, ALL EXPENSES PAID for! Yeas! That’s how we roll. I don’t joke with Covenant oh. God bless you PM and PK, I still don’t know how to say Thank you.

I gave birth to a LIVING MIRACLE on the 4th of October 2017!

But just as his life was being celebrated, the devil thought he could cut our celebration short. On the 9th of October 2017, I noticed my son was not keeping his food down and would throw up all he ate. Later that evening after a routine check up with his doctor (they didn’t find anything abnormal), my son threw up again but this time the color was not yellow, it was green.

I wondered how a breastfed child would vomit green breast milk. While I was still wondering what was going on, he started to choke. He turned completely deep red. I grabbed him and started trying to clear his airways. It was all happening so fast. At a point he screamed and I grabbed him and rushed to the hospital.

When I got to the hospital, checks showed nothing, until an x-ray showed that he had intestinal malrotation (me too I had never heard of this before). It happens to 1 out of every 500 babies born- and the devil thought mine was his choice. Intestinal malrotation means the intestines were twisted and not in the normal position. As such, oxygen and blood supply to the intestines were not possible, hence digestion could not take place. WHAT? My baby had no form of nutrition for the whole time he was in my womb! He woud swallow and vomit in my womb and yet he lived in there till God brought him out. Indeed as Eziaha said, God was babysitting for me. They said it started in the 1st trimester of my pregnancy and were shocked to hear that none of my doctors had identified it. See, GOD does not share His glory with any man.

While I was still trying to understand what they were saying, a surgeon came to me and said I needed to sign papers to give consent for my 5 day brand new son to undergo surgery, as that’s the only way they may be able to save his life (that is if the situation had not deteriorated beyond repair). Options were: a colostomy bag, cutting off the bad intestines and rejoining the good ones -if what’s left was enough, and finally, medically, no hope of saving any of the intestines. I was in tears as I signed the papers and my son was taken into surgery for 4 hours. Within those 4 hours, the Word of God welled up inside me. . . “I dwell in the secret place of the Most High”. I had literally felt His shadow covering me all through -even when my blood pressure went into the 200’s- I abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I worshipped, I prayed and then I got really angry. I spoke to the devil. I told him my son is a living miracle and nothing will happen to him. I warned him and sent my angels on an errand to fix my son’s ntestines. Then I started speaking the Word to my son -even though I was not in the operating room with him. I confessed every scripture that dropped in my spirit, with his name. I declared that He is a LIVING MIRACLE, I declared that uncommon ideas would come to the surgeon, I made a covenant there and then with God to tell the world about what God has done for me when my son came out alive.

By the time I saw the pictures after the surgery, my son’s intestines were over 90% black and purple (a sign of no life in them)

but GOD. . . My God went into that theatre and told the surgeons not to cut them off. Instead God instructed them to find the places twisted and loosen them. Once they were loosened, the tiny (less than 10%) intestine that still had some pale pink colour started to supply blood and oxygen to the clinically “dead” intestines. The surgeons watched in amazement as the purple and black parts of my son’s intestines gradually began to turn pink and recieve life into each one of them. They all came alive! a bright pink color!

For days he couldn’t eat food, but today we are out of the hospital, hale and hearty, eating normally, passing stool normally and sleeping normally! All these were impossible before God intervened.

I am not just doing this for fun. It’s in keeping with the covenant I made with God, after He keeps His word by keeping my child safe in the shadow of the Almighty. I will tell everyone what He has done for me. EVERYONE!

Isn’t God so faithful! Every promise He makes, He surely fulfills! If you had any doubts before -even the tiniest, I hope this testimony revives your faith in Him. God wants us to trust Him totally, completely! Hold on to that promise God gave you sister, hold on to it for dear life. God will show up. He always does. He never fails!

Okay! It’s been a fun experience hijacking and all😁. Thanks for the privilege.

God’s love and light,
