#BibleSenseSeries: Pay Attention

Hey people

So I woke up to Romans 13 this morning and I’m sure you can guess from yesterday and today’s post that that’s where I’ve been sitting for now let’s see where we go tomorrow. 😁

So I started out thinking God was talking to me about being a good citizen and I was like how apt considering yesterday was our Independence Day celebration. What with scriptures like these?

But it was till I got to this that I got Bible sense #2

So that’s the instruction for today. Don’t get so busy in your WORK for God that you get distracted in your WALK with God.

Why? Because it will soon be over and it’s the SON not the STAFF that gets the real reward. A relationship with God is more important. Imagine getting to heaven and not having anything to continue gisting with God about. So keep your relationship tight and your assignment correct.

Love you guys.

The Holy Spirit just whispered this :

Build a life of prayer not just a prayer life.

See what just happened there? The Holy Spirit be making me witty since 1900s

Post update

For those who asked me to explain this:

Here it is

A prayer life focuses on having active prayer times while a life of prayer is one that is constantly in communication with God.

It’s not just moments or a healthy prayer culture. It’s a life constantly tuned to hear God and having consistent conversations with God.

One is about actions the other is a life style …. a life. It’s not just about having a quiet time. It’s about being quiet (internally) all the time to hear and speak to God constantly.

It’s a pray without ceasing kind of life.
