I missed you guys so much,
I promise not to disappear like this again, last week was just incredible! But I’m here today 😊.
Let me share a quick story with you..
Few years ago, I was in the U.K. Studying for my master’s degree.. I went there with the intention of graduating with a distinction, after my first few essays my scores were so low, I almost didn’t see the possibility of it happening, like I was amongst the lowest in class.. I could not understand it.. I struggled a bit with writing essays but I caught up and started doing better, at this point though I wasn’t sure about graduating with a distinction because you need to have like over 70% as a cumulative score in your taught courses.. Anyways to cut the long story short.. Just around the time I was writing my exams, we were going to have When women worship! 3 nights in the secret place in Lagos.
I don’t know how many of us remember it.. I told myself I wasn’t going to miss it for anything in the world! For me it was like having a date or setting an appointment. I was in front of my laptop, and I worshiped and just let go! It was such an amazing time! I laid everything down at my daddy’s feet, and I’m like you know what? miracles still happen. I did my dissertation, I had the highest score in class, I had the most complicated and outstanding research topic. And I graduated with a distinction. Even though at the beginning it didn’t seem like it, at the end God just turned things around.. God is just so faithful!
2014, was Akikintan.. and I’m sure you remember how wonderful that was..
Mrs Odunayo also has a testimony from being at one of the when women worship programs….. read below
