Okay guys on a more serious note I wanted to share something with you that I hope will up your expectations for When Women Worship 2014 akikitan
Before I met my PK And moved to David’s Christian Centre, I was worshipping at This Present House. That was my church for years and I absolutely loved it there. TPH had great music and amazing worship leaders. However there was a time when for some reason we didn’t have a choir. We had only three ladies who would come up and lead worship
and peace (as Efe was called back then was one of them)
One thing I noticed back then was even though “peter, James and John” as I jokingly called the select three would minister, “john” (Efe 😉
was the one PT always called for before He ministered. I didn’t really get it at the time cos I felt they all can sing and they can lead worship well.
You see what I didn’t know back then that I know now is that there is a big difference between a worship leader, a psalmist and a minstrel. Let me try to explain what I mean. A worship leader is one who leads the people into worship through songs mostly other people’s own, a psalmist writes the songs that help people worship God. Now a minstrel on the other hand usually is or can be one or both of the aforementioned but with one major difference the minstrel causes the heavens to be opened so the Word of God can flow freely.
In 2 kings 3:15-16a
the man of God sent for a minstrel and as soon as the minstrel played, the hand of God came and the Word of God followed.
A minstrel is anointed and once they start to worship the heavens open. Once the heavens are opened over a place, the Word of God must follow and once you get the Word….its only a matter of time testimonies must follow.
I have been in many services where Efe ministered and trust me, she is a minstrel.
I have heard her break out singing in tongues and all I could do was fall on my knees. Trust me, at those times, you will hear God clearly once the glory fills the house.
I know she has some albums and I have heard people rave about how anointed her cds are and I simply smile because what Efe carries, I doubt if it can be contained in a cd. You need to be where she is worshipping live.
You see, that’s another reason to be at When Women Worship 2014. Don’t miss akikitan.
Efe will be there and i am sure the heavens will open.
Please spread the word.Tell someone about akikitan today.
I will be back later. Still haven’t told you about Palmira right?
